Erika's Wedding

Chloe and Gigi were so excited to go the temple to wait for Erika to come out so they could see a "real princess."  All the girls were happy to visit with more of their cousins.  Erika made such a beautiful bride!

Seven Peaks Water Park Adventure

We went to Seven Peaks on Intermountain Day and was it ever BUSY.  The girls had a great time choosing to spend most of the time in the wave pool.

RaZZberries :)!

While at Seven Peaks, the line for food was unbelievably LONG.  So the girls found fun ways to pass their time.   I have been reading an awesome book called The Happiest Toddler on the Block, it has given me great insight into toddlers.  I just love how they can make the most boring times fun!

Bead Party

Along with all of the dress ups, the girls found some necklaces.  After much strife deciding who could wear which beads on which day, I finally decided we just needed to make more.   The girls invited over Kayli, Audry, Chloe, and Alyssa for a day of fun making beads.   The girls had a great time and I LOVED that the mess was a quick clean up!

FOAM DAY

Lehi city has an annual pioneer day tradition called "Foam Day."   The Lehi firefighters come out and fill soccer fields with foam.   They keep the fresh spray on for 2 hours.   The fields fill up with little (and not so little) children delighted by the mountains of white foam.

Princess Dress-Ups

While organizing the garage, we came upon a large bin of treasure!  The girls were getting really tired of spending every day helping with unpacking and organizing that was until we found treasure.  Right before our eyes was a bin of all the princess dress-ups any little girl could wish for.  Immediately the girls began calling dibs on which princess outfits belonged to whom.  Needless to say, it wasn't too fun trying to get them back into pajamas at bedtime.

We're Going to the Zoo-Zoo-Zoo...You can come too-too-too!

Uncle Steve, Aunt Ami, Kathryn, Emma, Abby, Eldon, Lydia, & Jaron came to visit.  The girls were so excited that their cousins wanted to stay with them.  We had fun playing at the park across the street (the girls believe they own the park :)), fishing, Lagoon, and a big family expedition to the zoo.  It was great that Uncle Hal, Aunt Elaine, & Alysha took time out of their packed schedules to go to the zoo with everyone!!
Aliah, Brynn, Gigi and Chloe loved every minute of the time with their cousins!  It was an adventure trying to keep up with all of the girls agendas at the zoo.  One wanted to see monkeys, one penguins, and another elephants and surely it ALL had to happen at the SAME TIME.  At the end of the day there were sure some EXHAUSTED PARENTS!
Gigi particularly liked watching the columbine monkeys, she wasn't very happy to leave that exhibit.  Chloe wanted to see and touch everything NOW!   The bird show was a success!  We all watched the birds and were thrilled when Alysha had a falcon land on her hand.  Gigi was disappointed that she too couldn't hold the birds.

Stadium of Fire!

Fourth of July brings a tradition of Stadium of Fire at our house.  This year, the girls were SO EXCITED to see Carrie Underwood.  Since the 4th of July was on Sunday this year, the Stadium of Fire was held early on Saturday.  We started the day with a visit to Grandma Lila's and got to see the cousins.  We then walked over to the stadium to watch the show.  Having had dinner just before we left the girls were abuzz with requests for cotton candy as soon as we entered the stadium gates.  We barely made it to our seats before the concessions people came by with it.  The girls got to choose whether they wanted pink or blue--and I should've guessed the littler ones would want blue.
The girls had a great time dancing to the music and watching the awesome fireworks display (all set to music).  Carrie Underwood delivered a great performance.  We also got to see some fighter jets fly by.  Gigi was super excited-- telling us over and over----"My mommy in the army."  They did a great presentation of all of the branches of the military.  It was really well done!
After the show, we walked back to Grandma's and visited for an hour to wait for traffic to clear.  All the girls were out cold as soon as they were buckled in the car seat.

BUBBLE GUNS!!

How did I fall so far behind in keeping this updated?  I have had the notion that I could keep up with updates at least weekly-- I guess that goal was just a little too lofty for me.  June was a very busy month for us!  Our new home was finished at the end of May so we spent all of June moving and organizing.  It is crazy how much stuff you collect over 13 years.   We just LOVE our new house!  The view is amazing and we are so happy to finally have enough space to fit all of us! I am SO GRATEFUL for WONDERFUL friends that helped us SO MUCH with our move!

My parents visited us for Father's Day Weekend.  It was a blast!!  Mom bought bubble guns for Chloe and Gigi.  The girls were so excited that they used all of the bubbles and the refills on day 1. The next morning we had to go get more bubbles of course.    The girls wouldn't part with their bubbles for anything.  Though I didn't get any pictures (dang it) the dog also enjoyed the girls bubbles.  He chases and pops the bubbles as quickly as the girls can keep them coming.

I just LOVE toddlers!!  They are so delighted with the most simple of activities.  Watching Gigi and Chloe become so excited over every little thing truly makes me so happy!
